Police Ethics: The Corruption of Noble Cause

Offering a different type of presentation on police ethics, this work focuses on corruption committed in the name of good ends. It addresses ethical issues of accountability, explains ways in which noble cause is subverted, presents noble-cause corruption as a form of what ethicists call a means-end dilemma, and considers ethical dilemmas facing police in the 21st century.
