Innocent.. but found guilty.Peter Reilly was convicted of manslaughter.Leonard Peltier's ordeal inspired a movie.Joe Hill was executed for murder.Mary Surratt was put to death for her involvement in Abraham Lincoln's assassination.Johnson Chesnut Whittaker was expelled from West Point for a racist attack on himself.Each of these people was wrongly convicted of a serious crime. As a result they suffered...some even died. These historical cases sadly show that justice is not always served.
